My Visit to Club 33: Part 2 - The Menu & Food
Welcome to about My Club 33 Visit, Part 2. In this post, I wanted to just feature the food that is served in Le Grand Salon. Our party went for lunch and the options were still plentiful and delicious. The table setting and plates are very fancy. The ornate silver and gold rim and new updated logo are very striking.
The main menu book is a leather book with the club logo embossed on the front. The wine menu/book is dark blue. The drink menu is smaller and has embossed leaves on the front. They are the same design or pattern as found on the faux stain glass doors in the waiting area (aka Court of Angels).
Check out their fun drink menu. I think the illustrations add to the charm.
Here are a couple of the drinks that was ordered around the table. I opted for a Signature Club 33 drink called, The Ruby (Fresh grapefruit juice with Elderflower Essence and mint). They were all refreshing, especially considering that it was a very warm day.
Our waiter, Robert, was fantastic about answering our questions about the menu items. He we was also very helpful in making some delicious recommendations. You could choose a 3 course or 4 course meal. The menu has a southern flair to it. It compliments the fact that Club 33 is located in New Orleans Square.
Here are some of the appetizers, soups and salads that we ordered. They were all the perfect size and very tasty. Warm dishes were served warm and salads were very cold.
The following photos are some of the entrees that we selected. Know that my lobster salad had plenty of meat in the deep dish.
The open-faced sandwich came with Signature Club 33 fries. The give the Cafe Orleans pommes frites s a run for the money. The sauce that came with the sandwich was a very delicious warm sauce. I think this was my favorite of all the entrees on the table.
We enjoyed our starters and main course but who doesn't enjoy delicious desserts. We made sure to leave room for these pretty and sweet dishes.
The molten chocolate cake also had a warm chocolate sauce that was poured over it.
I did try their signature coffee. I love a good cup of coffee. A couple of my friends also ordered some cappuccinos with their desserts. Overall, our meal was delicious and filling. Our server and his team delivered all of our dishes in a timely fashion. They were friendly, helpful with our selections and had good timing in between courses. It was a memorable lunch filled with great table talk among Disney friends.
My family and I are fans of Chef Sutton. We have an annual family dinner at Napa Rose so I knew that the food at the Club was going to be thoughtful and scrumptious. It did not disappoint.
Stay tuned for my next post. I have some photos from the balcony area and I have to show you the cool Club 33 merchandise.
