Friday Find: Disney/Mary Engelbreit TEA for THREE Lithograph

In 1998, artist Mary Engelbreit and the Walt Disney Company got together to create some very pretty offerings. The collaboration was to coincide with the 70th Anniversary of Mickey and Minnie.  It was fun to see Mickey and Minnie live within the Mary Engelbreit world.

I bought the following lithograph from the Disney Store Catalog (when they had one). I loved everything about this print. It is called "Tea for Three." It features one of Mary Englebreit's famous characters, Ann Estelle, enjoying a tea party with two of her friends. It just so sweet. I love the ear hat that Ann Estelle wears. I think that the Mickey and Minnie depicted as vintage plush is perfect for the occasion. The flower and cherry boarders are trademark Mary Englebreit.

The lithograph came already framed. It is a small edition and I have 233/500. It is a signed piece, too.

I just thought it was the perfect collaboration of two brands that stand for fun and whimsy. I liked the square size, the bright colors against the white matte and black frame. It sits in my kitchen so it adds lots of cheerfulness to a place where I spend a lot of time.

Happy Friday!
