Disneyland Explored

Disneyland explored.

One of the Best Souvenirs to Buy at Disney Parks

I am one of those that love all things Christmas. I enjoy just about everything about the Christmas season. I even got married exactly one week before Christmas; even Santa dropped by our reception.

Anyways, one of my favorite things about getting ready for Christmas is collecting ornaments throughout the year. As I attend events or make trips throughout the year, I usually try to find a Christmas ornament as my souvenir to commemorate my excursion. While there are usually many choices, I try to find one that 1) I can pack easily so as not to break and not too bulky; 2) one that will fit on my tree; and 3) one that has a good design that really exemplifies the trip/event. If there is one that I really "need to have" and is very fragile, I have been known to use their mail service...and it has arrived in great condition.

I was able to visit Walt Disney World over Spring Break and got to experience the Flower & Garden Festival. It has the colors and designs that were on some of the banners during the event. Here are a couple photos that show the front and back or this ceramic ornament.

This year, I was able to be at Disneyland on May 4th and there was some special merchandise to celebrate the un-official but fan favorite Star Wars Day. I was excited to see this glass ornament.

We just came back from a summer vacation at the Aulani and found this ceramic ornament. I actually have several Aulani ornaments from our past visits but I like this one because it was a DVC Member exclusive and it has the current logo that the Aulani is using for some of their merchandise. Here is the front and back of this ornament.

My daughter and I spent my birthday back in January in NYC and we took in a show and enjoyed the Guggenheim so I found these fun ornaments.

Buying a souvenir to remember your park visit doesn't have to break the bank nor does it have to take up space. Looking for a special holiday ornament to remember your trip is one of the best Disney souvenirs you can buy. It is timeless and sometime, priceless. When it comes to decorating the Christmas tree, my family really enjoys pulling out various ornaments from our family vacations and reminiscing about our trip and fun moments.

Happy Christmas in July!
